HOW TO MAKE YOUR LIFE ALWAYS ON HIGH GEAR

A famous author of a widely publicized book advised everyone not to practise the negative way of " I can not do it. But simply say, how can I do it. Why.... Here are my explanations. I hope you can add and share your own experience in life.

What is the effect of the first statement. Since it is a is a declarative sentence, it is an admission that you can not do it and will never do it. You are simply sending a bad message to your brain to stay idle most of the time. Punctuation wise, it is not a comma, but a period.

The second sentence is a question. It will energize your will power and surely you will be propelled to do something, anything and everything. You will even be doing the impossible to get the answer, even risking your health and life just to know the answer. Since it it remains a question mark, you will be looking for the appropriate answer . Conclusion-The "how to do it" solution, which is lurking in your brain" will make yourself on the go. Like the purpose of life, search for it, The "why you are here and for what purpose" would make your life even more meaningful, you will ask God, today and the rest of your life this question. "Lord, why, I am here."

THE ORIGINAL MEANING OF CHRISTMAS

Nowadays, the celebration of Christmas is being obscured by commercialism that our own present world.

Turning the pages to biblical history, Man by his self can not save himself. So one day certain in man's history, God as a matter of fulfillment has recorded the beginning of his salvific power in Isaiah's Chapter 7, verse 14.

Yes, by the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was born to a a Virgin named Mary. He lived as a man. Though He was God, He took off his kingly robe and lived among men for three years spreading the Words of Salvation. At first to the Jews,the chosen people of God, but because of their stuborness, they rejected Jesus and waited until now for another Savior to come.

Jesus died after finishing his redemptive work assigned Him by is Heavenly Father. Now, He is at the right hand of the Father. From this, John 3:16 came to life:
'FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, BUT SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE."

Now, what is then the real meaning of Christmas as we are celebrating every December. IS IT REALLY GIVING GIFT. Yes, in the real rsense of our world now, this is definitely correct. But biblically, we are off tangent to the original meaning of Christmas.

If the giving of that gift wrapped with colorful X'mas papers and with ribbons binding and decorating it, was given to a person who had wronged us, then, it was a good sign of forgiving him of the sin he had done unto us. . But if it was given to a person who had given you a gift earlier, or you are giving it to a person whom you believe will also give you a gift in return, what benefits will it gives you. None. It is just a simple give and take.

This is my experience in exchange gift. In a party where it was agreed that the minimum cost of gift for exchange with others office mates should be pegged at Php 100.00 and unfortunately, you believed that the value of the gift you received is lower than Php 100.00 ....What would you feel. Most are grumbling and aggrieved. But try giving something to someone whom you do not know. Well, you will experience happiness in the Seventh Heaven.

The real meaning of Christmas is just found within this two words, namely
"FOR" and "GIVING"

HERE LIES THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS:
This is not only a season FOR GIVING;
This is the most appropriate time for FORGIVING.

Did you observe something peculiar to the words. Using the word in a sentence separately will bear a little impact to the giver. Yes, you can give without loving, but you can not love without giving.
Now in sentence No. 2. Here, the impact goes straight to the giver. By this way, the giving is an act of forgiving. By this act, he made himself available in communion again with the very person who had wrong him earlier. It is a gesture of conciliatory act. Thus, we are reminded of the saying " To err is human and to forgive is divine."

To all My Readers, Friends and Visitors on the Web:

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD FOR A MORE PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE FOR ALL MANKIND REGARDLESS OF RELIGION, RACE, POLITICAL OR CULTURAL BELIEF. AFTER ALL, RELIGION WAS NOT IN THE MASTER PLAN OF GOD, WHEN HE CREATED OUR PLANET EARTH. THIS IS ALL OURS to enjoy and share. IT WAS NOT INTENDED FOR NO ONE'S GREED. AS WE ARE CHILDREN OF ONLY ONE GOD. WE JUST SIMPLY CALL HIM IN OUR OWN DIFFERENT WAYS. GOOD DAY TO ALL.

THE REALITY ON FORBIDEN WEALTH

Here is what God says about forbidden wealth through the mouth of prophet Jeremiah, Chapter 17, verse 11

The person who gets money dishonestly
Is like a bird that hatches its eggs it didn't lay
In the prime of his life,he will lose it
And in the end, he is nothing but a fool.

THERE IS ALWAYS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING

Ecclesaistes Chapter 3:1 to 9

Everything happens in this world at the time God chooses:
He sets the time for birth and the time of death;
The time for planting and the time for pulling up;
The time for killing and the time for healing;
The time for tearing down and the time for building;
The time for sorrow and the time for joy;
The time for mourning and the time for dancing;
The time for making love and the time for not making love;
The time for kissing and the time for not kissing;
He sets the time for finding and the time for losing;
The time for saving and the time for throwing away;
The time for tearing and the time for mending;
The time for silence and the time for talk;
He sets the time for love and the time for hate
Thetime for war and the time for peace.

GOD'S PROMISES

The greatest gift that our God gives to mankind can be read in John 3:16, when he said:

A lying tongue
Hands that kill innocent people
A MIND that thinks up wicked plans
Feet that hurry off to do evil
A witness who tells one lie after another
A man who stirs up troube

2. A man can hire a prostitute for a price of a loaf of bread, but adultery will cost him all he has.

3.Can we walk on hot coals without burning our feet. It is just as dangerous to sleep with another man's wife.

4. Son remember what I say and never forget what i tell you to do.

5. To honor the LORD is to hate evil.

6. Anything you say to a wise man make him wiser. Anything you tell to a religious man will add to his knowledge,

PRAYER MOVES MOUNTAIN

One of the most known and loved saints in Christendom is that of St Francis of Assisi. He had left for us one of the most used prayers in and outside the church.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master;
Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we received;
IT is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying that we are borned to eternal life Amen.
